Rockets, Bubbles and the Bible
This year we decided to take Vacation Bible School to the kids instead of having the kids come to us.
Setting up in the park.
Kids asking "How much longer until it starts?".
Waiting in the trees.
Workers cooling off.
The crazy lady starting the show.
Tim Tan the science man!
"I promise that it won't blow up, maybe."
The Vortex Cannon!
The Vortex cannon blowing smoke rings!
Hit by a sulfur smoke ring.
The Rocket Girls fueling up.
Warning!! Do not put your head in front of the rocket!
Ready to launch.
The Gospel message.
Snacks!Look for us in your neighborhood soon!

Harvest Party 2009
We had a good attendance this year with several visitors.
Lining up for the food.
But first we had some guest judges judge the chili and pies.
Several kinds of chili and plenty of sides for the meal.
Winners announced.Carl and his venison chili won for the chili and Beth won with her peanut butter pie.
We had good weather and a good day outside.Wednesday, October 28, 2009
